The church is more than a building where people gather to worship. It is a community of believers united by faith in Jesus Christ, committed to learning God’s Word, growing spiritually, and sharing His love with others. At Bethel Bible Teaching and Worship Center, this understanding is at the heart of everything we do.
Founded on October 14, 2021, in Pennsylvania, USA, Bethel Bible Teaching and Worship Center is a Haitian community church dedicated to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, discipleship, and compassionate service. Our mission is to help people deepen their relationship with God while encouraging them to live out Christian values in their daily lives.
As a congregation affiliated with the Mosaic Mennonite Conference, we embrace a Christ-centered approach that emphasizes peace, community life, discipleship, and faithful stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to us.
Our Vision: Transforming Lives Through Christ
At Bethel, our vision is to build a Christian community where lives are transformed through the teaching of God’s Word, sincere worship, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe spiritual growth begins with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. As individuals learn to trust God, understand His Word, and develop a consistent life of prayer, they become better equipped to serve their families, their church, and their communities.
Our desire is not simply to gather people for worship, but to equip faithful disciples who can make a positive impact on their communities and nations for Jesus Christ.
Our Mission: Sharing the Gospel and Demonstrating Christ’s Love
The mission of Bethel Bible Teaching and Worship Center is centered on sharing the truth of God’s Word and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways.
We pursue this mission through several important commitments:
1. Preaching and Teaching God’s Word
The Bible is the foundation of our faith, teaching, and daily living. Through biblical instruction, we seek to help believers understand God’s truth and apply His principles to their everyday decisions and relationships.
2. Encouraging Worship and Prayer
Worship and prayer are essential parts of our spiritual journey. We encourage believers to approach God with sincere hearts, depend on Him in every season of life, and develop a meaningful relationship with Him.
3. Developing Disciples of Jesus Christ
We are committed to helping believers grow spiritually, discover their God-given gifts, and become faithful followers of Jesus. Through discipleship and fellowship, we seek to equip people to serve God and others effectively.
4. Serving Our Community with Love and Compassion
The love of Christ should be visible in the way we treat and serve others. Through evangelism and community service, we seek to share the Gospel, strengthen our community, and demonstrate compassion, dignity, and respect.
5. Building a Strong Community of Faith
We believe the church should be a place where people experience fellowship, encouragement, unity, and spiritual growth. We welcome people from different backgrounds and seek to build meaningful relationships that strengthen our faith and our shared commitment to Christ.
Our Biblical Foundation
Our mission reflects the call of Jesus Christ to make disciples and teach them to follow His commands. In Matthew 28:19–20, Jesus commissions His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe everything He commanded.
This calling reminds us that the Christian faith involves more than receiving spiritual encouragement. It also involves growing as disciples, sharing God’s truth, and helping others discover the hope found in Jesus Christ.
At Bethel, we seek to live out this calling through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and service. We desire to honor God in our congregation and wherever He gives us opportunities to serve.
