Every believer is on a journey. Some of us have walked with God for decades. Others are just beginning, or returning after a long time away. At Bethel Bible Teaching and Worship Center in Levittown, Pennsylvania, we believe that journey was never meant to be walked alone.
The apostle Paul names the three things that carry us along the way: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV). Together they describe who we are and how we want to walk with you.
Faith: Trusting God Along the Way
Faith is the first step of the journey and the one we keep taking. At Bethel, we understand faith as trusting God and standing firmly on His promises, especially on the days when the road is hard to see.
That trust grows when we are rooted in Scripture. It is why teaching God’s Word is at the center of our worship on Sundays and our Bible Study on Fridays. We do not want faith to be a feeling that comes and goes. We want it to be built on the Word of God, day after day.
Hope: Looking Ahead with Confidence
Hope is what keeps us moving. It is the confidence that God is at work, even in seasons of waiting, change, or loss.
Our vision as a church is a community of believers whose lives are transformed through God’s Word, passionate worship, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. That is a hope worth holding on to. We believe God can raise up disciples who make a difference in their families, their communities, and the nations for Jesus Christ.
For many in our Haitian community, Bethel is also a place of encouragement and unity, a church home where people can find strength together.
Divine Love: The Greatest of These
Love is the heart of the journey. It is not only an idea we talk about. It is how we treat one another: with grace, compassion, dignity, and respect.
God’s love for us is what makes our love for others possible. We try to reflect it in the way we welcome visitors, pray for one another, serve our neighbors, and reach out beyond our walls with the love of Christ.
What Walking Together Looks Like
A journey together needs regular places to gather. At Bethel, you will find:
- Sunday Worship, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: meaningful worship, fellowship, prayer, and biblical teaching.
- Friday Bible Study, 7:00 PM: interactive teaching, discussion, and prayer, in person or on Zoom.
We meet at 837 Hoe Rd in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
